Research Grants
Our Medical Panel is hard at work considering the applications for research grants that we have received in response to recent advertisements. Last year we received no applications for research into either BPH or prostatitis, which was a disappointment.
This year, readers will be delighted to learn that we are now considering eight BPH/Prostatitis applications and a further 20 in the field of prostate cancer plus three for training grants. The standard appears to be high and we are confident of making decisions at the March Trustees meeting to award grants totalling over half a million pounds.
