Message from the CEO...
Welcome to a new year and the latest issue of Update.
In this issue, we are focusing on the charitable side of our activities – the ways that we help to stop prostate disease ruining lives. From the Prostate UK Master Classes to the research that we fund, you will learn more about where your money goes and the difference that it makes. There are also more details about our first parliamentary event and our BPH awareness campaign. We will be building on these successes in the coming year – watch out for our return to Westminster in March.
With a new year come resolutions and you will find plenty of challenges that you can undertake to support Prostate UK and make sure you keep your resolutions beyond the end of January. We can offer a half marathon, 10km, 5km, triathlon and a trek in India to name but a few. Or, for something less physical, you can host a quiz or design your own event. Make 2010 the year in which you do something different! Jack Bacon has joined our fundraising team as Regional Fundraising Manager and he is looking forward to helping you get the most out of your fundraising.
