Here are the conditions of participating in Pants in the Park and some simple rules.
Terms and conditions of entry
Registration All adults and children must register by paying the entry fee of £5 each if they wish to take part (Children under ten are free but must be accompanied by a responsible adult). To help Pants in the Park to be a great success, please try to register for the event in advance of the day either by using the Register button on the page for your chosen location (in menu on the left). On the day, please ensure that you check-in with us when you arrive at Pants in the Park – the Prostate UK desk will be located close to the race starting point. Late registration at £10 per person will be possible when you check-in between 10.00am and 10.45am.
Health and Safety At the time of registration, all participants must provide Prostate UK with contact details for use in the case of an emergency. If there is an emergency Prostate UK may use this information to contact your next of kin.
Copyright By taking part in the event, all participants give Prostate UK permission to use their name, and any video footage or photographs taken of them during their participation in Pants in the Park, for the purpose of publicising Pants in the Park and Prostate UK generally, in any media including television broadcasting.
Health Any participant unsure of their physical ability to take part in Pants in the Park should take medical advice from a general practitioner prior to the event. All participants must write their name and details of any health problems or medication on the reverse of their official Pants in the Park number, which must be worn on the front of shirts during the event. (Please also remember to bring your own safety pins!)
Liability All participants enter this event entirely at their own risk and Prostate UK shall not be liable for any injury or loss which might occur as a result of their participation in Pants in the Park.
Children Children under ten are free, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If children wish to take part and receive the runner's pack (including a running number) they must register and pay the £5 entry fee.
Money collected All monies raised in connection with Pants in the Park must be passed to Prostate UK. By registering for the event you agree to ensure that all sponsorship monies/donations received by you for Pants in the Park are paid to Prostate UK.
Disabled persons All participants wanting to take part in a wheelchair must contact Prostate UK before the event to ensure that the course will accommodate wheelchair access.
Spectators Participants’ supporters and family members spectate at this event entirely at their own risk and Prostate UK shall not be liable for any injury or loss that might occur as a result of their attendance at pants in the Park.
Transfers If you are unable to take part in the event you may transfer your entry to a family member or friend, upon condition that the new participant notifies us of this prior to the event giving your previously registered name plus their own name and the full registration information as though they had registered themselves (which must include an emergency telephone number).
